Vale Greg Fulton
The Mayne Football Club would like to acknowledge the passing of 1982 Premiership player Greg Fulton who left us this morning after a long battle with cancer. A product of the Vermont Football Club in Melbourne, Greg was a tall upright half back flanker who joined the Tigers in 1981 and went on to be an important member of the 1982 Premiership team. Tigers finish as minor premiers for 2026
The Tigers played their last home and away fixture for the Hart Sport QFA Division 1 for 2026 yesterday against the UQ Red Lions at UQ playing fields St Lucia. It was a top two clash with the honours resting at one win each with both of those wins going to the visiting team. The Tigers held top spot on the ladder by one win and a significant percentage but it was a game that both sides should have been eager to win and go into the finals series with some positive momentum. Jack Coghlan - Looks small, plays big
One of the Tigers most talented young men in Jack Coghlan will play his 100th senior game for the club this Saturday. Cogsy as he is affectionately known came to the Tigers for the beginning of the 2016 season fresh off the family farm in Victoria to move in with family friends, Danny and Kim Craven, and to make his way in the world.
