Mayne Tigers Golf Day

Another terrific occasion for the Mayne Tigers Murdoch Campbell Golf Classic with a great turnout and massive sponsor support at the Virginia Golf Club.

There were 86 players who came out to support the Tigers across 22 teams with players coming from all parts of the community.

A very big thanks to Luke Faulkner once again for his organising of the event and to Sam Gardner and all the people at Gardner Vaughan Group who supported the day in a major way.

The winning team was team 11A Luke Faulkner, Liam De Young, Justin Blumfield and Chris Burgess with a score of 55.5.

Second Place was team 17A Toara Marango, Corey Massingham, Alistair Norris & Brent Canayone with a score of 56.

Nearest to Pin on hole 3 was Adam McDonald, hole 9 Baydn Dodds and on hole 14 Ian Walters.

Longest Drive on hole 18 was Chris Burgess.

There was also a prize for hole 1 the "happy gilmore drive" which went to Sam Gardner.

A big thanks to Rod Judd and Graham McColm for helping on the day with managing the registrations and the raffle. The raffle took over $2,500 in a very generous effort from all those who bought a ticket or donated a prize.

The Tigers would like to also thank the extensive sponsors list for the day which has made this such a big success.
