Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in 2022 to all in Tigerland

The Mayne Football Club Committee extends their Best Wishes to all Players, Volunteers, Sponsors, Supporters and respective families for a Happy and Safe Christmas Season and for a prosperous New Year.

After another challenging but successful 2021 the club is primed for 2022 with a vibrant and developing new Committee as well as an experienced and enthusiastic Football Department.

Training has been underway for two weeks and despite the challenging and sometimes extreme weather conditions, attendance has been very good. A modified programme to manage the weather has been proving to be attractive to the playing group who haven’t been daunted by the conditions.

The Pre-Christmas Training Programme has been augmented with the Resistance Sports Science Group overseeing the playing group’s physical conditioning while Club Physio Sami Howell is taking the entire playing group through an individual physical assessment process to prepare everyone for their specific development. Both these initiatives are open to the Men’s and Women’s teams.

The Pre-Christmas programme will wrap up on Tuesday 14th December 2021 with a Christmas Sausage Sizzle. The group will get stuck into the Pre-Season in the New Year commencing on the 11th January 2022.
