Tony Stevens - 100 games for the Tigers

In another milestone for the Thirds, Tony Stevens will play his 100th game for the Tigers this Friday night at the Den.

Tony came to Mayne in the inaugural year of the Tigers entering a Thirds team in 2015 and has hardly missed a game since.

He has served as Captain as well as being a regular top five finisher in the Best and Fairest voting and taking out the John Laing Best and Fairest Award on two occasions in 2019 and 2021.

The highlight for Tony was 2017 when the Thirds held the Premiership Trophy aloft with a great group of players who came together in a breakout year.

Tony previously played 98 games for the Harman Hoggs in New South Wales and 47 for the Queanbeyan Tigers the ACT before joining Mayne and has regularly said this has been the most enjoyable period of his long footy career with the club being so welcoming and being able to make so many new friends.

The Mayne Football Club congratulates Tony on this wonderful achievement and wishes him well for Friday night.
