The Mayne Football Club would like to acknowledge the sudden passing of Linda Mahoney who died peacefully among family and friends on the 9th June 2023.
Linda is the much loved wife of inaugural Mayne Tigers Women’s Coach Wayne, mother to Women’s player Grace and former Everton Wolves player Blair.
The Mahoney family have long been dedicated volunteers of the Mayne Tigers and Everton Wolves working steadfastly at the Den in coaching, playing and numerous voluntary roles.
Linda and Wayne have also been extensively involved as volunteers with other community based organisations highlighting their very generous nature.
Linda’s passing will be felt across the entirety of both the Tigers and Wolves due their extensive involvement with both clubs over such an extended period of time.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at the Pinnaroo Lawn Cemetery on Friday 30th June 2023 commencing at 12.30pm.
